About

Welcome to Faithful Working Mom.
This space is for women just like you: faith-filled but frazzled, hardworking but weary, deeply desiring to live with intention and peace, but not sure how to get there.

Here, you’ll find encouragement, practical tools, and real-life stories to help you:

  • Create rhythms in your home that bring calm instead of chaos
  • Nurture your faith in the middle of a full, demanding schedule
  • Let go of guilt and perfectionism so you can live freely in God’s grace
  • Rediscover your identity, not in what you do, but in Whose you are

Why I get it…

Hi, I’m Laurel.
Wife, boy mom, full-time working woman, and former perfectionist, people-pleaser, and burnout queen. For years, I chased every to-do list and tried to keep everyone happy, all while quietly crumbling inside.

But God met me in the mess. And when I started surrendering my need to control and prove myself, everything changed.

Now, I live with peace and purpose, not because life got easier, but because I’ve learned how to anchor my days to something (Someone) unshakable. And I want that for you, too.

So let’s do this together.

Let’s run this race on purpose.
Let’s build homes that reflect God’s love (even in the messy moments)!
Let’s finish well.

You don’t have to do it all. But you can do what matters most.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Run your race on purpose. Stay faithful. Finish well.

“Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”
~ 1 Corinthians 9:25

I’m Laurel

A working wife, boy mom, and woman learning to live boldly for God. After years of people-pleasing and carrying the weight of perfection, I’m learning to let go of the excuses and run my race on purpose.

This space is for every overwhelmed woman juggling work, motherhood, marriage, and faith, longing for more than just survival.

Here, we trade burnout for grace, chaos for purpose, and fear for faith.

Run your race on purpose. Stay faithful. Finish well.
